Plowing forward

Yesterday was a cupcake free day. I pretty much cuddled with Zuhri and nursed Nalah-B back to health all day. Boy do I cherish lazy days...........
So today I hit the grind again. I set appointments up with 2 more banks and spoke to a loan officer over the phone. Finding a lender that will loan money to a start-up business is a bit of a challenge. For one I have learned that pretty much the bank (in most cases) hates to loan money to a new business. A new start-up in one that has been in business less than 3 years. Pretty much it is the luck of the draw or MAJOR collateral that makes the bank say yes. In the words of Sara at US Bank, "we do not like to loan money to new start-ups but please come on in and we can see what we can do for you." So that is what I am going to do on Wednesday morning. I am determined to secure funding before the month of September is over. I will keep you posted. I pretty much have to make more copies of my business plan a get ready to sell my idea, again.
On another note, I did have lots of time to think up new cupcake ideas. I have not tested any recipes yet but I had fun thinking up some new ideas.
Here they are:

Over the rainbow - I am not sure what kind of cake but the butter cream would be white with skittles on top
French kiss- vanilla cake with a kiss in the middle topped with french vanilla butter cream and kiss on top
Maple Pancake- maples laced buttermilk cupcake with fresh whipped cream icing
Mango madness - mango cake with a sweet mango butter cream
Orange Creamsicle - vanilla cake with orange essence topped with orange butter cream

We will have to see if any of these make my final menu.
Life is good because I am following my bliss. Peace and Blessings until tomorrow.

Oh, I just threw in a cupcake picture. These were made for one of my neighbors last year.
