Eatin' cupcakes and chillin'

Well, I decided to start a blog about this tumultuous roller coaster ride to opening Harmony Cupcakes doors. I really needed a forum to vent, celebrate and document what I am experiencing. Maybe this will help someone else walk out on faith to pursue their dream or maybe it will scare them to death. Who knows. My mom is always on me to keep a journal so I am finally going to commit to do it. Life is good because I am following my bliss. I feel like I have a whole stadium full of cheerleaders, for that I am grateful.

Today was pretty low key b/c I got all of my baking done last night. My orders were made, packaged and ready for pick-up and delivery before I went to bed for a change. I am kinda mad because I forgot to take pictures before I delivered my orders today. I made Amarichino cherry and cookies n' cream cupcakes for one of Chaka's co-worker's baby shower and Harmony chocolate cupcakes for one of my best customers, Mo's family reunion. They turned out nice but I will have to share the left over rejects for this first photo post (see above photo of the cookies n' cream). I promise that I will remember next time. All of the cupcakes passed the Nalah-B stamp of approval. She was not feeling well today but managed to evaluate half of a cookies n' cream cupcake. She said it was "too fabulous", especially the Oreo.

After my deliveries, I stopped by my location to update the broker about my weeks events. My spot next to Caribou is still available, thank God. This week I will hit 2 more banks and wait for the head nod to move forward. I swear life would be so much easier if that damn rich uncle of mine would step forward and claim me....

Such is life, life is good because I am following my bliss. Peace and Blessing until tomorrow.

I am so elated that you are sharing your journey to Harmony. You have always been very focused and determined to reach your goal even when things did not go just right.

The cupcakes in the picture look delicious. I am looking for that rich uncle -- maybe I should revisit that geneaolgy research I did a fe years back.

I love you Claire and I believe you will achieve your goal and more.

Peace and blessings
