Well, I have not heard from the bank yet. I have made a follow up call and still nothing. I am really beginning to understand that this is the ultimate test of my patience. All I can do is wait. My business plan is solid, the loan proposal is top notch, my application was filled out by the loan officer so all is in place. In the words of Donnie McClurkin, "after you've done all you can, you just stand". So folks I am going to just stand and let the universe work its magic.
Off to pick up the kiddies from school and take Nalah-B to gymnastics. Folks look for her in the 2016 Olympics.

Harmony Cupcakes, LLC
Well it is official, Harmony Cupcakes is officially registered with the Secretary of the State of Ohio as an LLC.
Got my tax ID, LLC and next the bank will call approving my loan.

On the Road again.............
OK, so I have been totally bummed for over a week. Yes, I had a bit of a pity party and was stuck dwelling on the fact that I gave up a job making close to 6 figures to pursue my dream. I kept whining to Chaka that I want it all to happen quicker. He keeps telling me to be patient and that God is prepared to deliver when he feels that I am ready to receive. Um.........Are you there God? it's me Claire, um............. I am ready whenever you are :-)
Anywho, the pity party has come to am end and folks, I am on the road again!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last week I hit 3 more banks to introduce myself and to set up meetings. Thank God for Sherrita! I am so totally blessed that she has kept Zuhri for me twice in the past week so I could continue on this journey to Harmony Cupcakes. Knowing that he is in safe hands and being loved makes it so much easier to take care of business. I am really hoping that I can recruit her to do something once the business is open since her job laid her off a week before she was scheduled to go on maternity leave - those b*st*rds! Anywho, I think that God has a plan for her and I believe that we are home together right now for a reason, we shall see.
OK, back to the bank stuff. I met with a really awesome (and cute) small business loan specialist, Joe at Chase bank on Monday. The great thing about Chase is that it is located right in front on my location. He was so excited and so encouraging, I really wanted to hug him after I applied for the loan. He assured me that at the very least he could point me in the right direction if the loan does not get approved. He promised that he would be in touch by the end of the week with a green light or a red light. So I am pretty much playing the waiting game. I am going to give him until 3pm today and then give a follow up call. I am feeling the pressure and I really do not want to loose my prime location. I will keep you posted.
I have a cupcake order for tomorrow. This one is a special request, lemon cake with chocolate butter cream. My best customer, Mo is doing mini cupcakes for her mom's b-day. I will post a picture when I get done with the order.
